A Foot in the Right Direction The birth of a critically endangered roloway monkey at Chester Zoo has sparked hope for a species on the brink of extinction.
Masaya, a 15 year old roloway monkey, underwent pioneering surgery last summer to save her foot from amputation after developing a golf ball sized mass.
The operation was complex and unprecedented, with no previous examples of such a procedure being performed on a roloway monkey.
